Summer Essentials - Dry Shampoo

For the next couple of weeks I will be featuring different products that will help you save time and look your best this summer.

The most time consuming beauty routine we have is - of course, styling our hair. The routine consists of washing, blow drying, and styling our hair. This alone takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the type of hair you have.  Personally, I dread the hour long ordeal you have to go through to have beautiful hair. Not only is this time consuming but it puts stress on my hair, leaving it damaged and full of split ends. In a perfect world, we would all wake up with gorgeous hair - like the women in the movies. Unfortunately, this is the real world and we all have full time jobs or children to take care of. The solution, dry shampoo.

Dry Shampoo is intended to physically absorb the excess oils that build up in-between washes to leave your hair looking clean and full. Dry shampoo comes in powder form and is usually in a aerosol spray can. Because your not washing and styling your hair everyday this gives your hair a break and will reduce breakage.

How to use this product:

  • Shake well
  • Hold 10 - 12 inches from your head, layer by layer
  • Let the product dry
  • Shake out the excess with your fingers or brush it out
