Florescent Green

What a great time to start a fashion blog, as spring is about to come in full effect- still waiting for those permanent warm temperatures. It has been a long and chilly winter, and i'm sure i'm not the only one that is itching to ditch the infamous boring black leggings and flats for a sun dress and sexy sandals.

Now, for the last couple of months i've been observing the trends for spring 2013 and I am honestly loving what I am seeing.

Major trend alert - Green, not your plain jane green, but neon green. At first, I was hesistant to indulge in the madness until I met these gorgeous neon-green-bottom sandals. It is very important to know how to wear this color, and what exactly to wear it with. Personally, I like to play it save and mix with navy blue, black, white, and grey. This colour can easily bring life to an ordinarily dull outfit - if you know how to put it together. The key ladies is keep it simple... If you are going to wear neon green leggings where a black or white  shirt. If you choose to wear a neon green shirt please reframe from wearing any colors - stick to shades. My point is, you don't want to be an eyesore, a little goes a long way.

Yellow is also a fashion must for spring/summer 2013 and  I'm not talking about a mellow yellow. Same rules apply when wearing this color - stick to shades. If your feeling a little adventurous you can throw navy blue or emerald green to the mix.
