MOD

Everywhere you look this spring, I can guarantee you will see bold prints, bright colours, and short A-line hems. One of my favourite 60's style icons, Eddie Sedgwick is a great example of how to do it right. From her head down to her toes this women was pure elegance with a cutting edge style. The key, is not presumably what your wearing but how you put it together. Big hair & Big make-up is essential in pulling off this look.

According to Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton and Michael KorsSpring 2013 is a return of most 60's trademark looks:
  • mini skirts
  • A-line dresses
  • kitten heels
  • pointed toes
  • checker board & stripes prints
  • pops of bright colours
  • monochromatic outfits
  • statement sunglasses

The only print that we haven't seen a lot of on the runways is the infamous flower print. Now it's very important to remember that what you see on the runways is not practical for everyday attire. Do not wear it head-to-toe, mix retro pieces with modern fashion elements. By doing this your style will be relevant, fresh, and balanced.

A women's style should never looked forced, it should look fluent and comfortable.
